Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy describes how Biznex (operated by Deep Space LLC) handles information in connection with the Biznex Kassir point-of-sale application (the “App”). The App is a point-of-sale terminal used by staff of restaurant and retail businesses. It is offline-first: it connects to an on-site Biznex server over the local network, which is the single bridge to the Biznex Cloud. By using the App you agree to the practices described below.

1. Information we process
The App processes only the information needed to run the point of sale. We do not use it for advertising, and we do not track you across other apps or websites.
Staff account information
Employee name, role and PIN, used to sign in to the terminal and control access. Accounts are created by your business administrator; the App has no public sign-up.
Operational information
Orders, menu items, tables, cashier shifts and payment records generated during work. This data is stored locally on the device and synchronised through the on-site server.
Diagnostic information
App version, device model and crash logs, collected through our error-monitoring provider (Sentry) only to keep the App stable. This is not linked to your identity and is never used for tracking.
2. Device permissions
The App requests the following permissions for specific, limited purposes:
- Camera — used only to scan the server connection QR code. No photos are taken or stored.
- Local Network — used to discover the on-site point-of-sale server on the same Wi-Fi network (Bonjour / mDNS). The App does not scan or track other devices.
3. How we use information
We use the information described above to:
- authenticate staff and enforce role-based access;
- take orders and payments, and print receipts;
- keep the terminal in sync with the business server;
- diagnose problems and keep the App stable and secure.
We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising or cross-app tracking.
4. Storage and sharing
Business information is stored on the device and on the business’s own on-site server, and is transmitted over encrypted connections. It is shared only within your organisation according to your role. We do not share personal information with third parties except where required by law. Diagnostic information is processed by our error-monitoring provider (Sentry) on our behalf.
5. Data retention
We retain operational and account information for as long as your account and business remain active, and as required by applicable law and tax regulations. When it is no longer needed, it is deleted or anonymised.
6. Your rights and choices
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your account information. Because accounts are managed by your business, please contact your business administrator, or contact us directly using the details below.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
